Sharing is Everything: «Remix Parts» of our favourite track from Blend’s latest album. Sudden Death’s «Press Forward» - featuring the mighty Elephant Phinix on vocals, made its way inside studios and hard drives in Athens, Belgium, London, Poland and California for some serious mash ups.
Weeks later, links with remixes to download invaded our mailbox and the results were simply astounding! Each artist has brought his own distinctive tone, his musical perception and, most importantly, his creativity and production skills.
Listen to the downbeat gypsy soul in Palov’s version, the enigmatic dubstep mix by Ekelon, Kill Emil’s hip hop melancholy and the kaleidoscopic reggae feel in BNC’s remix. Then again, the drum n bass frenzy of Turntable Dubbers and ragga fused jungle by the infamous Illbred Bazin is followed by the darker side of hip hop, the mpc duo, Jmelik & Billa Qause and the murky ways of Gary Poter.
